The founder and executive chairman of the BUA group, Abdul Rabiu, handed over a 150-bed hospital worth 4 billion naira to the Nigerian police in Abuja.
Rabiu donated the hospital to the security agency through his Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative.
In a statement, the foundation revealed that the hospital will be called “ASR Africa National Police Referral Hospital, Abuja,” and that it is funded by an annual ASR $ 100 million development fund. and the social renewal of Africa.
Speaking during the physical handover from the hospital, Rabiu said: “Today what we have just done is bring healthcare closer to the people who protect lives and property in the country. and other Nigerians who will also benefit from the facility.
“We are ready and determined to partner with government and non-government organizations to deliver critical interventions and have a lasting impact on health care and social development for the benefit of the people. ”
Inspector General of Police Usman Baba said the hospital will be equipped to world-class standards.
