School districts are quarantining students and staff, based on their exposure to COVID-19.

On August 5, the Ohio Department of Health released quarantine guidelines for those who have been exposed to COVID-19 in a school setting or on school bus. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 must follow isolation procedures.

What are the quarantine guidelines for those who have been exposed to COVID-19?

Quarantine is not necessary for those who are fully vaccinated, but they are advised to wear a mask indoors for 14 days or until they test negative, according to the state’s health department.
