KBL Launches Limited Edition Game of Thrones Inspired Johnnie Walker Whiskeys


Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) has launched two Johnnie Walker Limited Edition Game of Thrones inspired whiskeys in Kenya, the Johnnie Walker A Song of Ice and the Johnnie Walker A Song of Fire.

The two whiskeys were launched in collaboration with the famous Game of Thrones television series, produced by the American company HBO. They are inspired by the iconic and powerful House Stark of Winterfell and House Targaryen of Westeros. These are the successors of the White Walker by Johnnie Walker Limited Edition Scotch, launched in 2018.

Johnnie Walker A Song of Ice offers single malts from Clynelish, one of Scotland’s northernmost distilleries. The new Scotch has an ABV of 40.2% and the bottle design evokes an icy decor with frosty blue and gray colors inspired by the North. Johnnie Walker A Song of Fire is rich and spicy, offering subtle smoky flavors from the peaty malts of the Caol Ila Distillery with an ABV of 40.8%. It is inspired by the dragons of House Targaryen, feared for their fire eater, the design of the bottle evokes a fiery decoration in dark red colors.

Each bottle of A Song of Ice and A Song of Fire comes with a giant wolf or virtual dragon. Fans of Johnnie Walker and Game of Thrones just need to click a link and scan their bottle to unlock a personalized AR experience that will be updated with new features.
