Kensington Distillers & Vintners (KDV) London announced that it has entered the Kenyan market and will be marketed as Monument Distillers Kenya.
In the process, Sazerac, an American leader in spirits, granted Monument Distillers the distribution rights for its portfolio in Kenya. The most important brands of Sazerac include; Popov Vodka, Southern Comfort, Myers Rum, Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, Firewater and Buffalo Trace Bourbon. Kensington Distillers’ entry into the Kenyan market follows the successful launch of Monument Distillers Nigeria last year.
As part of this new development, Monument will distribute its alcohol products through its distribution partner Maxam Limited, a local liquor distributor in Kenya and East Africa.
